Purchase & Refund Policy

This Purchase & Refund Policy applies to all ticket purchases made through https://aftereight.events/ and is operated by AfterEight, based in Giza, Egypt.

By purchasing a ticket from our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Ticket Purchases & Confirmation

  • All ticket bookings are subject to manual approval by AfterEight.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after:

    1. Manual approval, and

    2. Successful payment completion.

  • Tickets are issued and delivered only after payment is completed.

2. Payment Process & Time Limits

  • After approval, you will receive a payment link via email.

  • The payment link is valid for 24 hours from the time it is sent.

  • You may attempt payment multiple times within the 24-hour window.

  • If payment is not completed within 24 hours, the booking will be:

    • Automatically canceled

    • Notified by email

  • After cancellation, you must place a new booking, subject to:

    • Ticket availability

    • Price changes

3. Refund Policy – General Rules

  • All ticket sales are final.

  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable, except in the specific cases outlined below.

  • No refunds will be issued for:

    • Change of mind

    • Inability to attend

    • Incorrect ticket selection

4. Event Cancellation

If an event is fully canceled by AfterEight:

  • A full refund of the ticket price will be issued

  • Website fees, payment gateway fees, and service charges are non-refundable

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method only

5. Event Rescheduling

If an event is rescheduled:

  • Tickets will remain valid for the new date

  • If you are unable to attend the new date, you may request a refund of the:

    • Ticket price only

    • Excluding any website, service, or payment fees

6. Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Government decisions

  • Security or safety issues

  • Circumstances beyond our control

AfterEight may cancel or reschedule the event.

  • Refunds (if issued) will cover the ticket price only

  • All fees and charges remain non-refundable

7. Refund Method & Timing

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method

  • Refund processing time depends on:

    • The payment provider (Paymob)

    • Banks and card issuers

  • Payment gateway and transaction fees are non-refundable

8. Ticket Usage & Event Entry

Entry may be denied without refund if:

  • The QR code has already been scanned

  • The ticket is altered, duplicated, or tampered with

  • The ticket holder’s name does not match a valid ID (when required)

ID verification may be required in certain events.

9. Late Arrival, Conduct & Security

  • No refunds will be issued for:

    • Late arrival after doors are closed

    • Violation of event rules

    • Security refusal

  • In cases involving:

    • Aggressive behavior

    • Rioting

    • Threats to safety

AfterEight reserves the right to deny entry and contact relevant authorities when necessary.

10. Fraud, Chargebacks & Misuse

  • Any chargeback or payment dispute may result in:

    • Immediate ticket cancellation

    • Account suspension

  • AfterEight reserves the right to:

    • Cancel tickets suspected of fraud

    • Refuse future purchases from users involved in abusive chargebacks

  • Proof of ticket delivery, QR code issuance, and entry logs may be used to dispute chargebacks.

11. Event Changes

AfterEight reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Event lineup

  • Event schedule

  • Event venue

Refund rules for changes:

  • Lineup changes: Refund of ticket price only (excluding fees)

  • Venue change:

    • Refund available if the new venue is significantly far

    • No refund if the venue remains near the original location

12. Digital Tickets

  • All tickets are digital

  • Tickets are delivered via email

  • Users are responsible for providing a correct email address

If tickets are:

  • Not received

  • Deleted

  • Lost

You may contact us to resend your tickets.

Lost or deleted tickets are not grounds for refund.

13. No Refund Requests

  • Refund requests are not accepted outside the cases explicitly mentioned in this policy.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • This policy is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt

  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through local Egyptian courts
